The flying car of the future is available for pre-order for deep wallets

For those of you who spend a lot of time commuting to work every day, the idea of doing it in a few minutes is priceless. Can you imagine? No traffic jams, no train delays, no more cold weather at bus stops. What could be better? All this is promised by approximately 100 companies involved in the development of eVTOL (electrical "vertical take-off-and-landing") vehicles.

Among them, the Californian startup company Alef Automotive is particularly interesting. This has already started with the pre-sale of the Model A flying car. For the purchase of the car, a calculated 267 thousand euros will have to be deducted. Pre-orders were opened immediately after the US FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) issued a license for the said flying car.

The Alef Automotive Model A flying car boasts a range of about 322 kilometers for road travel and about 177 kilometers of autonomy in flight mode. The car can accommodate two adults, and the flying speed is around 40 kilometers per hour. It should also be noted that pre-orders are refundable. Prospective buyers had to pay a recalculated 1,335 euros to be placed on the priority list, while for a regular list, buyers only had to pay a recalculated 134 euros.
