Do you already know what we can expect from the new Android 16?
The company Google recently presented the final version of the Android 15 operating system, but unfortunately it is not yet intended for ordinary users. This is available as part of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), and access to it is currently only available to developers. The final version of the Android 15 operating system for ordinary users is expected at the beginning of October, which is a month later compared to the first predictions. Nevertheless, the programmers are already thinking about its successor. We are of course talking about Android 16 here.
The first screenshots of the Android 16 operating system have been published by the folks at Android Authority. As expected, these have met with a lot of enthusiasm from Android smartphone users. Google programmers are preparing two different sliders, namely one for notifications and one for quick access to settings.
The new notification slider no longer occupies the entire screen, but only half. This means that the open application is visible in the background. This can be recalled by swiping up from the bottom. Using two fingers, we will bring up the slider for quick access to key settings. The icons of the new Android operating system will be slightly smaller compared to the current ones.
As expected, other innovations of the upcoming Android 16 operating system have not yet been revealed. These will be known to the public only when the first early trial version of the innovation is available. However, this should only happen in the coming months, as the long-awaited Android 15 is not even available for download yet.
