Xiaomi POCO F6 Pro: an excellent mid-ranger
POCO makes fantastic mid-range phones and, aside from the Redmi phones, is the most serious competitor to Samsung's Galaxy A series. We recently tested the POCO X6 and mostly just raved about it. The Pro version works even more promisingly. But they make another family of phones, the POCO F. This one is more and more game-oriented, this year is no exception. They launched the POCO F6 and F6 Pro and both the phones perform very promisingly.
In the first place, the price will be a very strong factor in the decision. Although the price is rumored to be around €350-400, it will definitely be higher depending on the specifications. It's hard to beat a phone at this price with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and 12GB of RAM. If that happened, many people would be jumping for joy, but it is highly unlikely. But even if the phone will be in the range of €500, this is still a very attractive price. In comparison, the Galaxy A55 is priced at €550 and has a significantly inferior chip. There will also be a 50 MP main camera, which should at least capture good photos during the day. The secondary cameras will most likely not be at the same level, but let us be surprised. The screen will, of course, be OLED, with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a resolution of surprisingly 1440p, although this will not matter to most.
The battery will have a capacity of 5000 mAh, which will be enough for a whole day of use, maybe even an hour or so more. According to all reports, the phone is said to have the new HyperOS system installed and not MIUI, like the POCO X6. The difference between them is currently more design, but in the future it will most likely be known that the developers have taken a big step forward in the field of optimization. The basis for HyperOS will be Android 14. More will be known soon.
