The Samsung Galaxy A15 performs promisingly

Samsung will start the new year with the presentation of the cheaper Galaxy A15 5G phone, which is the direct successor of the Galaxy A14 5G phone. When we think of Samsung phones, the first association is the excellent S series, which, compared to the A series, is less important for the profits of the South Korean giant. Samsung always sells the most A-series units and makes the most profit from them.

Unofficial information suggests that the Galaxy A15 will have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is said to be one of the first in its class to get an OLED screen, which is a huge difference compared to the LCD screen of its predecessor, the A14. The Galaxy A15 is rumored to have a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera and one 2MP camera (probably macro). The main camera could have 10x digital zoom. It is said to have a 13 MP selfie camera on the front.

The Galaxy A15 5G is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor that has two Cortex-A77 CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz, six Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at 2GHz and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone could have 4GB or 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It will most likely run the latest Android 14.

Other features of the phone could include GPS, 5G, dual SIM card slot, fairly dated Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Galaxy A15 will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that will be compatible with 25W “fast” charging. This is an upgrade over the 15W fast charging of the Galaxy A14 5G model. The fingerprint reader will be built into the power button. The Galaxy A15 5G will be available in two colors: black and blue. The price will most likely be between 200 and 250 euros.
