Will we be able to fully charge our phones in just 5 minutes?
If you use a modern smartphone, you most likely feel that the autonomy of the device is never long enough, as it rarely exceeds a day due to continuous use. However, since users often lack time even to charge their phones, the Chinese company Realme announced some time ago the arrival of an interesting and insanely fast system for charging the batteries of mobile phones and tablets.
Realme will introduce the advanced battery charging technology to the public in the next few months. It is SuperVOOC charging technology, which can produce up to 300 watts of electrical power at full load. In practice, this means that we will be able to charge a fully discharged smartphone in less than five minutes. The novelty was tested in connection with a Realme smartphone, which was equipped with a battery with a capacity of 4,100 milliampere hours. Larger batteries will of course take a little longer to charge.
Fast charging will be appreciated by many, especially those who are constantly reaching for their mobile device. The first phone equipped with a fast charging system of 300 watts is said to be the Realem GT Neo 7. This should be presented to the public before the beginning of this fall.
At the moment, fast charging of up to 240 watts of power is available to users. With its help, a completely discharged smartphone can be charged in less than 10 minutes. It is currently equipped with the Realme GT Neo 5 smartphone. It has a built-in Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processor, which is cooled by an advanced cooling system, and a battery with a capacity of 4,600 milliamp hours.
