A washing machine with three drums?

We don't usually write about washing machines and similar household appliances, but we happened to come across the announcement of the Chinese company Haier for the new Leader washing machine. Nothing special for now, but the new model has three washing drums for more convenient washing. In addition, the shape reminds us of Mickey Mouse or an Xbox console.

The Leader washing machine allows us to wash three different types of laundry at the same time. The larger drum can hold up to 10.5 kg, while the two smaller ones can hold up to one kilogram of clothes and other laundry and are primarily intended for more delicate fabrics or laundry that you don't want to mix with other items. Want to quickly wash some socks and underwear and don't want to turn on the main drum? The smaller drums above the main drum are perfect for this.

In addition to the new design, Haier has also integrated hygienic and smart features. It includes medical UV sterilization to kill bacteria, artificial intelligence control for easier operation, and a special washing program to protect delicate fabrics. AI Dynamic Balance technology helps reduce vibration and noise to a minimum, while the maximum drum rotation speed – 1400 rpm – speeds up drying.

Although Haier is not known to many people, it is a world-famous brand and is also sold in Slovenia. The new Leader washing machine is currently only available in China, and the price is around 700 US dollars. The design is really interesting, so we hope it will be available here too. Hisense introduced a similar concept back in 2017 and won a few awards for innovation at the time, but the washing machine, at least according to our information, never went into production.
