The new Honor 90 Lite is here: cheap and surprisingly powerful
Honor has announced another member of its latest series of mid-range smartphones. To summarize, less than a month ago Honor announced the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro, which use Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor cores. ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 processor cores clocked at 2 GHz.
Additionally, the Honor 90 Lite features a 6.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2,388 x 1,080 pixels and a 90Hz screen refresh rate. Honor has packed this large screen into a 7.48mm thick body, which is powered by a 4,500mAh battery and supports 22.5W charging via USB Type-C. In the middle of the screen there is a classic opening in which the 16 MP front camera is built, and next to it there are cameras with a resolution of 100 MP (main camera), 5 MP (ultra-wide-angle camera) and 2 MP (macro camera) on the back.
The Honor 90 Lite will hit European shelves on June 19. The company has yet to confirm pricing for Europe, but the Honor 90 Lite will be available in the UK for a retail price of £249.99 from June 20. All Honor 90 Lite models will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and MagicOS 7.1, a customized interface based on Android 13.
