The new Geekom AE7 will not let you down
The Geekom AE7 is said to be on the way and could very well be a different version of the A7. Independent testers were happy with the existing model, especially the version powered by AMD's top-of-the-line Ryzen 9 7940HS, a Zen4 processor that can smoothly handle almost anything you throw at it.
As reported by AndroidPC, the upcoming AE7 will also be equipped with the same processor. This would automatically put it in competition with the Minisforum UM790 Pro's top-of-the-line mini PC, another device that took advantage of every nook and cranny in an otherwise very small case. In addition, thanks to the Radeon 780M iGPU processor, the AE7 will also have everything it needs for moderate gaming.
As reported by the Spanish website, Geekom will equip the AE7 model with a USB4 connector that will enable eGPU support. The A7 is also equipped with it, and when paired with the GPD G1 eGPU, the mini PC offers smooth gameplay for most of today's games. However, performance would definitely be better if the OCuLink connector was built in instead.
Otherwise, it is also rumored that the Geekom AE7 will be equipped with a robust cooling device that will ensure stable operation. The Ryzen 9 processor in the mini PC is said to be paired with up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. In terms of wireless connectivity, the computer is said to have WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a large number of USB 3.2 Type A ports and a Type C port.
Pricing has not yet been announced, but sales are expected to begin in May.
