First issues for the highly anticipated AMD Ryzen 9000 processors

Končna preizkušanja kakovosti novih procesorjev AMD Ryzen 9000 so pokazala, da kakovost novincev ni skladna s pričakovanji podjetja.
Prve težave za težko pričakovane procesorje AMD Ryzen 9000

We recently reported that AMD will offer for sale a completely new family of Ryzen processors. Here it will be Ryzen 9000 processors, which will be based on the completely renewed Zen 5 processor core and powerful integrated RDNA graphics card. Although the newcomers were supposed to see the light of day on July 31 this year, unfortunately that will not happen.

The final tests of the quality of the new AMD Ryzen 9000 processors have shown that the quality of the newcomers does not meet the expectations of the processor giant. Therefore, AMD engineers will have to roll up their sleeves a little more. As a result, the news will be available for sale a little later, on August 15 this year.

But waiting for AMD's new Ryzen 9000 family processors will undoubtedly be worth it. If we are to believe the recently revealed performance tests of the most powerful AMD Ryzen 9 9950X model, it will be as much as 41 percent more powerful compared to the competing Core i9-14900K processor in the Handbrake program and up to 22 percent more powerful in the Horizon Zero Dawn game. In the case of the Ryzen 7 9700X model, we are talking about 42 percent and 31 percent higher performance compared to the Intel Core i7-14700K processor. The AMD Ryzen 5 9600X model won't be too shabby either, as it will offer as much as 94 percent or 29 percent more performance compared to the Core i5-14600K model.

In addition, AMD's 9000 family processors are said to be even cheaper compared to current models. The Ryzen 9 9950X and Ryzen 9 9900X processors should be 137 euros cheaper compared to the Ryzen 9 7900X model. The Ryzen 7 9700X model will be around 92 euros cheaper, and the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X model will be around 65 euros cheaper. In practice, this means that European prices will most likely receive an even bigger "discount".
