The compact Radxa ZERO 3E over the popular Raspberry Pi Zero
At the end of 2021, the Raspberry Pi Foundation prepared a completely new computer system. It was a Pi Zero 2 W, which was much more compact compared to the rest of the Raspberry Pi models. The novelty was based on a 64-bit Broadcom BCM2710A1 processor, which calculates data with four Arm Cortex-A53 processor cores with a frequency of one gigahertz.
Recently, the popular Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W finally got a decent competitor. It is the ultra-compact Zero 3E computer system from Radxa. The novelty is based on the Rockchip RK3566 processor. In practice, this means that it uses four ARM Cortex-A55 processor cores with a frequency of up to 1.8 gigahertz to calculate data. The integrated Mali-G52 2EE graphics card is suitable for more advanced graphics and multimedia content.
The Radxa Zero 3E compact computer system offers another gigabyte of LPDDR4 system memory. For more advanced users, a version with as much as eight gigabytes of LPDDR4 system memory and up to 64 gigabytes of data storage space is available. The novelty measures only 70 x 30 millimeters. Nevertheless, it offers all ports and connections, including Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 4 wireless connections. The Radxa Zero 3E compact computer system is also expected to support a rich range of operating systems such as Android 11, Debian 10 and Raspberry Pi OS. Among other things, the novelty also supports a gigabit network connection and support for powering via a network cable.
The interesting Radxa Zero 3E will soon be available for purchase abroad. Although the retail price of the novelty has not yet been revealed, it will certainly be cheap. The entry-level version of the current Radxa Zero 3E model is already available for 13.84 euros. Therefore, it is not surprising that you go on sale as a bet.
