At MSI, they recently made the decision to equip their new motherboard with the second generation of CAMM memories. This primarily ensures a better connection with the motherboard, which of course means higher data transfer speeds. In addition, upcoming DDR6 system memories will also be equipped with this type of memory. The MSI Z790 Project Zero Plus motherboard offers support for Kingston FURY DDR5 CAMM2 system memory, which is still under development. Nevertheless, they should be ready for sale in the next few months. Individual DDR5 CAMM2 system memories will support up to 256 gigabytes of memory, which is sure to please even the most demanding users.

As it seems, MSI's engineers have not yet run out of innovation. Together with the company Asus, they have prepared another interesting basic board, which will be easily acquired by many. It is equipped with a special mechanism that enables the quick installation and removal of Solid State M2 drives. A button is available for this purpose, which means that screwing is no longer necessary. Removing the graphics card has also been simplified. It is enough to pull it on the upper side, so it is no longer necessary to press the special plastic tab.

The innovative motherboard was presented to the public during the recent Gamescom 2024 conference. Although it was a working prototype, it is currently unknown when the novelty could be sold over the counter. Undoubtedly, the novelty would be easily acquired by more demanding users and those who are not very skilled at attaching computer components or are afraid of damaging the base plate.
