Radeon RX 7600M XT: expensive but interesting for gamers

Although compact and portable gaming computers are currently in vogue, they have several problems: they are price and performance, which cannot be compared to classic computers.

Such devices cannot, for example, have powerful graphics cards due to space limitations. However, users can take advantage of modern interfaces such as USB4 and OCuLink to significantly increase 3D performance. One way is to use eGPU enclosures, which can even house regular desktop graphics cards.

GPD has equipped its G1 with an AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT graphics card, which is very similar in terms of specifications to the Radeon RX 7600. However, due to the lower power consumption, it is not expected to provide exactly the same level of performance as the desktop version.

The GPD G1 has two problems. The purchase will cost you 700 euros, and at the same time it is very loud at high load. There is a special “Quiet” profile in the BIOS, but this, on the other hand, limits the performance of the graphics card. Undoubtedly, this is a unique solution for compact computers, but it is not a solution that will suit every gamer.
