A smart ring with a contactless payment system
Muse Wearables has launched the Ring One smart ring on the Indiegogo platform. Why is it so special?
Muse Wearables' campaign has already received over $455,000 from over 2,500 backers, surpassing their fundraising goal of $20,000. Currently, the lowest contribution level is the “Early Backer Special”, which allows you to purchase the ring for US$172, a 42-% discount compared to the suggested retail price of US$298.
You also have the option of opting for the special edition Ring One in 18k gold, priced at US$599 on Indiegogo. This version of the device is expected to hit the shelves for US$799, which means early buyers save US$200. The company ships worldwide with an estimated delivery date of December 2023. All purchases include a smart charging case, a one-year warranty, a lifetime free subscription to the Muse app, and a ring sizing kit.
Ring One is a wearable health tracker with sensors that track blood pressure, skin temperature, heart rate and SpO2 level. The smart ring can also be used for contactless payments or as an NFC digital key 2.0 for your car. In addition, there is an unusual interface wheel in the center of the ring, which can be used to switch between exercise modes or for an extra level of payment security. According to the brand, the device's battery lasts up to seven days and is ten times lighter than the average smartwatch. The Muse Wearables Ring One Indiegogo campaign will close on November 2nd.
