The silent iBox-N97 computer
Not all personal computers are suitable for all environments, so among them we also find manufacturers with solutions that can cope with even the most demanding environments. This time, however, the company ASRock proved themselves especially, as they prepared a special version of a miniature personal computer with the designation iBox-N97 for industrial environments. One of the main advantages of the innovation is the completely passive cooling of the machine components, as this reduces the possibility of sudden malfunctions and errors in operation. In addition, it is completely inaudible in operation.
The compact and silent ASRock iBox-N97 desktop computer is equipped with an Intel processor of the Alder Lake-N family, or more precisely for the Processor N97 model. It calculates data with four processor cores, which consume only 12 watts of electrical power at full load. On top of that, the mini computer is equipped with a relatively solid graphics card (considering the price and design), which will suffice for some non-basic tasks.
The ASRock iBox-N97 desktop computer supports up to 16 gigabytes of DDR4-3200 system memory. Both a 2.5-inch hard disk and a Solid State drive (SSD) can be installed, and a wide range of connectors for connecting external devices is also available. We can install the Windows operating system or a Linux distribution based on the more modern Kernel. The novelty can easily withstand temperature loads from minus 50 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius, so it can be used even in the most difficult conditions. The retail price of the novelty has not yet been revealed. Since it is an industrial computer, the price is likely to be higher than similar commercial computers.
