One of the main new features in Android 15 is the ability to create a "private space" for apps that you want to hide from others who (temporarily) use your phone. According to Google, apps you put in private space won't appear in your recent apps list or in notifications or settings. You will need to provide additional authentication to access the space, and you will also be able to hide the very existence of the private space.

On foldable devices and tablets, Android 15 will allow users to pin and unpin the taskbar for a little easier access to apps. Many Android devices will also get a theft detection lock feature that allows the phone to automatically lock itself if it detects (with the help of artificial intelligence) that it has been stolen. Google is also adding a feature called Remote Lock, which lets you lock your phone using another Android phone, your phone number, and a "simple security check."
