Have you heard of the RedMagic brand? Unless you are part of a handful of enthusiasts, it would be very difficult to stumble upon their products by accident. It is a gaming branch of the company Nubia, which manufactures very good gaming phones, which are rarely available in Slovenia. This time they went outside their comfort zone. They didn't present a new phone, but two gaming monitors.

The RedMagic Realm is a 49-inch curved screen (1800R) with a response time of 0.03 ms. The panel is from Samsung, namely QD-OLED. The maximum resolution is DQHD or 5120 x 1440 pixels with a high refresh rate of 240 Hz. As befits a monitor of this type, it supports the image functions of both major graphics card manufacturers: AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync Adaptive-Sync. The brightness is rated at a very good 1000 nits, and it also covers 99 % of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Other features include two 5-watt speakers and a headphone output. Connections include two HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB Type-C with DisplayPort Alt-Mode and 90-W charging for supported devices. It is not known whether the monitor will also come across our border, and the price in China is around 1,300 dollars.

The second monitor is the RedMagic 5088 Partition with a 27-inch diagonal, 4K resolution, Mini-LED panel with 5088 dimming zones. The panel is manufactured by AUO, the maximum brightness is an impressive 1400 nits. There is also a 160-Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors and VESA HDR1400 certification. The price is about 800 dollars.
