Realme 12X: A solid entry-level phone

The 12X is the latest smartphone from Realme in the affordable price range, which the manufacturer hopes will stand out mainly due to some design accessories and a low price. The phone has a slim and elegant appearance with straight edges, but despite its slimness, it contains an impressive battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh.

The main advantages of the Realme 12X phone are the already mentioned battery, a large 6.67-inch screen and a back that uses advanced color technology that allows color shades to change depending on the light and viewing angle. The screen supports FullHD+ resolution, but it is an IPS LCD and not an OLED panel, which is quite expected for this price range. The screen is slightly curved, but it cannot completely hide the concrete blackness around the frame.

The consolation prize is a 120-Hz refresh rate, which will ensure a smooth user experience, provided, of course, that the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ octa-core processor manages to provide enough power. The Android 14 operating system with Realme UI 5 skin is installed on the phone. The highlight of the i is the main camera with a resolution of 50 million pixels. With it, we will be able to capture excellent photos in all conditions.

The new Realme 12X will be available soon. Initially, it will be possible to buy it in China, namely through recognized online stores. The entry-level version equipped with 12 gigabytes of system memory and 256 gigabytes of space will be valued at 180 euros. The more powerful model equipped with 512 gigabytes of system memory will be valued at a calculated 206 euros. The new Realme 12X will most likely go on sale in Europe as well.
