The third call of the Ministry of Digital Transformation for the allocation of laptops has been published
The Ministry of Digital Transformation has ensured that these individuals receive the same opportunities and support they need to improve their situation. In the first public call, beneficiaries from the first income class, whose income per family member does not exceed 230.76 euros net, could apply. In the second public call, beneficiaries from the first and second income class and foster parents whose income per family member does not exceed 384.61 euros net and who have at least one child enrolled in primary school education could apply.
In the third public call, published on Tuesday, August 26, 2024, all beneficiaries from the first to the sixth income class inclusive, who have at least one child in primary school education, can apply. The upper limit of the average monthly income per person is 820.51 euros net, and those from lower income classes will still have priority in the allocation of laptops.
The application deadline is September 30, 2024. Beneficiaries can also submit their applications by email to gc@sklad-kadri.si. When applying, it is not necessary to attach any supporting documents, and the decision will be sent by registered mail. In the case of a positive decision, the beneficiaries will receive a laptop at home free of charge, delivered by Pošta Slovenije.
The laptop becomes the permanent property of the beneficiary after two years. Each computer has an installed operating system and programs for editing documents, images, viewing multimedia content, surfing the web and communication.
In order to inform the ministry of the most vulnerable groups about the appeal, they also started an awareness campaign in cooperation with humanitarian organizations such as the Association of Friends of Youth, the Red Cross, Caritas and schools and local communities. With the announcement, we also decided to reach the message to as many people as possible at Computer News.
The application and more information about the public call can be found on the fund's website.
