A portable PlayStation with an AMD processor?
Gaming fans received the PlayStation Portal portable device at the end of last year. This actually allows for remote gaming in conjunction with a popular game console. The novelty has a relatively high-quality LCD screen with an 8-inch or 20.3-centimeter diagonal and a 1080p resolution for displaying images. The frequency of displaying images is 60 frames per second.
Soon, however, Sony is expected to offer a completely different portable gaming console for sale. This is actually supposed to be a classic portable game console that will not need a stationary PlayStation game console to play games. The novelty should be available for purchase later this year, and it should be powered by a powerful processor that AMD will make for it.
Online rumors suggest that AMD's new processor will be equipped with an extremely powerful graphics card. This should have as many as 18 graphics units with a frequency of 1.8 gigahertz available for data recalculation. In practice, this means that the novelty could run the game consoles for PlayStation 4, which are available for download on the online portal PlayStation Store, without much difficulty.
Many experts are convinced that Sony would gain a significant competitive advantage in the gaming market by starting to sell a portable gaming console. The popularity of game consoles is currently at its peak. At the moment, however, portable game consoles from Chinese companies dominate, but they are more often than not intended for playing retro games.
