Sony is preparing the PlayStation 5 Pro game console under the development label "Trinity". According to the latest rumors, the novelty should be ready for sale for the Christmas and New Year holidays in 2024. The first examples of the novelty should be ready for testing at the end of this year. Sony has been developing the highly anticipated PlayStation 5 Pro game console since the beginning of last year.
The latest rumors indicate that the PlayStation 5 Pro gaming console will be equipped with a special AMD processor with Zen 4 processor cores and an integrated RDNA 3/3.5 graphics card. In addition, the novelty will have as much as 16 gigabytes of fast GDDR6 graphics memory available. The processor will calculate data with eight Zen 4 processor cores, while the built-in graphics card will use 30 dedicated processor cores called Workgroup Processors (WGP) to calculate graphic content.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the graphics performance of the PlayStation 5 Pro gaming console is said to be comparable even to the AMD Radeon RX 6800 graphics card for PCs. This one should actually be able to run console games in both 4K and 8K resolution with ray-tracing technology. Playing in the highest resolution will naturally take place at lower graphics settings.
Even sooner, of course, we will see a thinner version of the PlayStation 5 gaming console. Its retail price in the United States is estimated to be around 370 euros. In addition to the lower price, the new product should also receive a renovation of the external appearance, which will of course please many.
