Oppo A3 Pro: very good for mid-range
Oppo is often an underrated company. It makes fantastic phones, but is still overshadowed by its rivals. In Slovenia, we face the problem that quite a few excellent brands are not available here or are difficult to get. OnePlus, Google Pixel, Nubia, ASUS and also Oppo. These are companies that could ventilate what is happening on the market and perhaps pinch off a percentage from the other incumbents.
Oppo's latest phone, the A3 Pro, could shake things up in the mid-range segment dominated by Redmi phones and Samsung's A-rated aliens. Its main advantage is price. The initial retail price is around 258 euros calculated for the configuration of eight gigabytes of system memory and 256 gigabytes of data storage space. There is also support for 5G network. Therefore, the novelty will also be perfect for slightly more demanding tasks and for performing a variety of tasks.
The engineers equipped the Oppo A3 Pro phone with a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. As already mentioned, it supports 5G mobile networks, in addition, the phone is equipped with a 17.1-centimeter or 6.7-inch diagonal AMOLED screen, FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 hertz with brightness of 950 threads. The Oppo A3 Pro is understandably aimed at entry-level users, although we see no reason why it shouldn't also be used for mobile gaming at a lower resolution.
To capture photos and videos, the Oppo A3 Pro smartphone is equipped with three cameras, the main one equipped with a resolution of 64 million pixels. For video calls, the phone has a front camera with a resolution of eight million pixels. There is even a special Ultra-Clear Image algorithm that "changes" photos to an apparent resolution of 108 million points. We will have to wait to see how this will work or look in practice. But we believe that it will cope with more demanding tasks as well. The Oppo A3 Pro smartphone is also equipped with a 5,000 milliampere hour battery with 67 watt fast charging technology. This should be enough for at least a full day of use, if not maybe half a day more.
The new Oppo A3 Pro is available in three variants. The entry-level version equipped with eight gigabytes of system memory and 256 gigabytes of space is valued at 258 euros. More powerful versions are available for 284 euros (12GB/256GB) or 323 euros (12GB/512GB). At the moment, it is not yet known whether the novelty will be available on the global market.
