Opera One with AI ready for iOS
Opera recently launched a new version of the browser that comes with an AI chatbot called Aria. Similar to the Bing chatbot in Microsoft Edge, the Opera AI assistant works in the browser sidebar, where it can answer your questions with real-time information, generate text or code, generate ideas, and more.
The built-in chatbot is powered by Opera Composer AI technology and connected to the OpenAI GPT model. To use the tool, you just need to log in to an Opera account if you don't already have one. Once you've done that, you can click on the Aria icon on the left side of the screen to start a chat. Although Opera started testing the updated version of the browser in May of last year, it only recently became available to all users.
Until now, only Windows and Android users could benefit from the Opera One web browser. Soon it will also be available for Apple's iOS mobile operating system. Credit for this goes to the Digital Markets Act (DMA). This ensures that equal competitive conditions and legal security for companies are established on the market, and the rights and interests of European citizens are protected, including the possibility of installing competing browsers with advanced options.
Opera One with Aria AI will be available in the next few months. Many are convinced that this will definitely happen in March this year. The new Opera One mobile web browser for iOS is likely to be available only for European users of Apple mobile devices.
