One UI 7 (Android 15) trial now available for select Samsung phones!

If you have a Samsung smartphone, we have good news for you. The Android 15 mobile operating system is practically ready for more than 50 Samsung mobile devices. The novelty will of course be equipped with the graphic interface Samsung One UI 7. Of course, the novelty will initially be received by users of more expensive devices, but later also other devices. Although Samsung has not yet officially revealed the list of devices that will receive the new One UI 7, a user with the pseudonym @TheGalox_ has taken care of it. The list is published below. All newbie users, however, will get a number of useful features that will literally rejuvenate their device.

Recently, however, a trial version of the One UI 7 (Android 15) operating system has become available for selected Samsung phones. This applies to all smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy S24 family. The One UI 7 trial is currently available for users in India, South Korea, Germany, Poland, Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom. It will soon be available in other parts of the world. To install it, you will need to become a member of the Samsung Members program.

One of the main innovations in One UI 7 (Android 15) is undoubtedly the possibility of creating a "private space" for applications that you want to hide from others who (temporarily) use your phone. The best examples are banking apps, social networking apps, messaging, and the like. According to Google, apps you put in private space won't appear in your recent apps list, notifications, or settings. You will need to provide additional authentication to access the space, and you will also be able to hide the very existence of the private space.

On foldable devices and tablets, Android 15 will allow users to pin and unpin the taskbar for a little easier access to apps. And if you have certain apps that you often use side by side, you can set up app grouping and access that grouping from a single icon. Many Android devices will also get a theft detection lock feature that allows the phone to automatically lock itself if it detects (with the help of artificial intelligence) that it has been stolen. Google is also adding a feature called Remote Lock, which lets you lock your phone using another Android phone, your phone number, and a "simple security check."
