Only a handful of game lovers will be able to afford the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card!

At the beginning of October, Nvidia confirmed their presence at January's CES 2025 consumer electronics show. For many experts, this is a clear signal that the computer giant will present a new family of graphics cards for gamers during the conference. Here, of course, we are talking about GeForce RTX 5000 family graphics cards, which will easily cope with even the most demanding tasks.

Initially, it seems that the most powerful GeForce RTX 5090 model will be on sale. This will undoubtedly please the most demanding game fans, as the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 graphics cards are said to be between two and 2.6 times more powerful compared to the GeForce RTX family graphics cards 4000. But unfortunately this one will not be cheap. Recently revealed information indicates that the purchase of a GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card in Europe will cost as much as 2,200 euros or more.

In return, the new GeForce RTX 5090 will be a performance trophy. The graphics card will be equipped with the GB202-300-A1 graphics core, which will contain as many as 21,760 graphics cores, or 35 percent more cores compared to the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card. Here we will find another 32 gigabytes of fast GDDR7 graphics memory. The graphics core and memory will be connected via a 512-bit bus.

This means that the GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card will also run 8K resolution graphic content without any major problems. At the moment, unfortunately, it is not yet known when the GeForce RTX 5000 graphics cards will be available for free sale. In all likelihood, this will not be until the course of next year. Of course, more will be revealed at the upcoming consumer electronics fair CES 2025.
