New Ubuntu Touch available for select Android phones!
The Ubuntu Touch mobile operating system has been with us for quite some time. The open source operating system is connected to cloud computing services, so that both applications and data are always at our fingertips. Of course, owners of Android mobile devices who have a compatible device and a fast mobile connection will be able to benefit from all the advantages of the innovations on the way.
Installing the Ubuntu Touch mobile operating system on Android devices is relatively easy and innovative. This is especially true for the latest version of the Ubuntu Touch operating system, namely Ubuntu Touch 20.04 OTA-7. The novelty is based on the operating system Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Long-term Support). This means that it is based on an operating system from 2020, which will be supported at least until 2025 (standard support) or until 2030 (extended support). Here, of course, we also find new options and security fixes. Those who already have Ubuntu Touch just need to update it.
The Ubuntu Touch 20.04 OTA-7 mobile operating system is available for a select range of Android mobile devices as mentioned above. All users will receive it in the next few weeks. The full list is available below. More information about the novelty, including instructions for installation, is available at https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/.
