MyFitnessPal also for Wear OS devices
If you use fitness apps on your mobile devices and take care of a healthy diet, you may have come across the MyFitnessPal app.
The app basically allows you to calculate how many grams of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and sugars are in the food you eat. Based on this, MyFitnessPal will make suggestions about how much of everything you need to reach certain goals, or how many total calories you need to gain or lose some weight.
The basic package is free for everyone, and the app integrates with many others, from Garmin Connect to Strava and similar apps, so you can get an accurate picture of the total number of calories burned in a given day.
This functionality has been available to Apple Watch users for some time, but it's now also available to Android users, meaning those who opt for the highly-anticipated Pixel Watch 2, for example, will be able to better control their diet and exercise.
One of the handy features that Wear OS includes is the ability to easily add your most frequently logged meals. So you can add regular breakfasts with just a few touches. Additionally, it's possible to track your three main nutrients (sugar, carbs, fat, etc.), record the amount of water you drink each day, and quickly add the calorie intake for each meal to see your daily total.
In addition, MyFitnessPal has some paid features in the monthly subscription, including the ability to quickly enter the macronutrients of a specific meal.
