The renowned company Minisforum has announced the arrival of another compact desktop computer from the AtomMan family. The novelty did not disappoint us either. It is a very powerful computer system that will cope with even the most demanding tasks, including games, without any major problems.

The compact AtomMan G7 Pt is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor and is very powerful thanks to 16 cores and 22 threads with a maximum frequency of 5.4 gigahertz. Of the 16 cores, 6 are powerful based on the Zen4 architecture and 10 are efficient cores. The performance of this processor of electrical power up to 75 watts will vary greatly depending on the thermal management of the system, which Minisforum solved with a cooling fan combined with triple copper heat pipes. We will see whether the cooling will be able to keep up with the heat produced during the first tests.

On the graphics front, the AtomMan G7 Pt relies exclusively on an AMD Radeon 610M dual-core integrated graphics card. While this is commendable for an integrated graphics card, its performance similar to the GeForce GT 745M notebook GPU may not meet the expectations of gaming enthusiasts. Fortunately, the Minisforum company also equipped the novelty with a separate AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT graphics card with eight gigabytes of GDDR6 graphics memory. It will cope with slightly more demanding tasks without any major problems.

Memory and storage options include two DDR5 5200 MT/s (SODIMM) slots that support up to 96 GB of memory, and two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slots that allow for up to 4 terabytes of memory. Connections are plentiful, including two Ethernet 5G RJ45 ports, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.0 for connecting up to four external 4K displays, 3x USB 3.2 Type-A, 1x SD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a built-in camera (1080p) with support for Windows Hello. This means that the novelty will also be excellent for work and study.

In terms of wireless connectivity options, the AtomMan G7 Pt comes with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Of course, there is also a rich range of various connections available here. The retail price and availability of the novelty will be revealed before the beginning of the summer.
