WhatsApp is one of the best communication apps available for mobile phones. It is extremely popular all over the world and serves as the first choice for many people for both personal and business communication. Now, Meta is adding the “icing on the cake” to WhatsApp with the new Meta AI assistant, which will soon be available in the app. Meta is the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

Meta AI is a new assistant that was announced during the Meta Connect 2023 event. The virtual assistant is powered by artificial intelligence and has access to real-time information through Meta's partnership with Bing. It also provides an image creation tool. The Meta AI assistant will therefore have a fresh knowledge base, ensuring that the results of your conversations are current and relevant.

In addition to Meta AI, the company is introducing other artificially intelligent AI bots with a specific personality, history and expertise. They have partnered with many celebrities from various spheres – including MrBeast, Kendall Jenner, Snoop Dogg and others – to give these AI assistants their likeness. Meta does warn that the information from these artificially intelligent bots will be dated before 2023, but they are also working on improving this.

Meta will add Meta AI to WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram, as well as Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and Quest 3 VR glasses. For now, this AI assistant is only available in the United States and only in English. We anticipate wider availability in the future.

Users can ask the assistant directly in their personal and group chats. The image generator will work via the “@MetaAI/imagine” command, allowing badges and other images to be created through generative artificial intelligence.
