No one can argue that there aren't enough gaming monitors on the market. It feels like we get a few new alternatives almost every month. For January 2025, it's LG's turn with the advanced UltraGear OLED 45GX950A. This is a unique computer monitor for the most demanding.

The LG UltraGear OLED 45GX950A curved display's greatest precision is in its dual-mode operation. The user has access to both a resolution of 5,120 x 2,160 pixels (5K2K) at a frequency of 165 Hz and a Full HD resolution at a frequency of 330 Hz. This means that the display can be adapted to various computer games, which will of course be appreciated especially by those who do not swear by compromises.

The LG UltraGear OLED 45GX950A measures 45 inches and offers a brightness of 600 nits in SDR mode or 1,200 nits in HDR mode. A contrast ratio of 1,000 to 1 and 98.5 percent native DCI-P3/Adobe RGB coverage. Therefore, the new LG UltraGear OLED 45GX950A display with an OLED matrix will be suitable for both computer gaming and serious graphic work.

The LG UltraGear OLED 45GX950A monitor also boasts a fast response time. It is only 0.03 milliseconds. For connecting a computer, there are two DisplayPort 2.1 connectors and two HDMI 2.1 interfaces. The icing on the cake is a powerful USB charging connector. The novelty will be on sale soon and of course it will not be cheap. More will be known very soon.
