The interesting POCO M6 Pro is the first with the new Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor
The Qualcomm company recently introduced the very interesting mobile processor Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. This is a relatively cheap mobile processor that allows the use of newer mobile technologies such as 5G. The processor is manufactured using a 4nm process, smaller than its predecessor's 6nm (similar to the top-of-the-line 8 Gen 2), which promises greater energy efficiency and improved performance. Two powerful 4 Gen 2 cores operate at 2.2 GHz (10 % higher than 4 Gen 1), and the processor gets added value with better 5G network support and overall better network reliability, thanks to the new Snapdragon X61 5G modem.
Therefore, it is not surprising that Poco's engineers also decided on the new Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, namely when preparing the extremely interesting M6 Pro smartphone. The smartphone Poco M6 Pro for the device is based on a screen with a 17.2-centimeter or 6.79-inch diagonal and high. It also contains a battery with a capacity of 5,000 milliampere hours with fast charging technology. Not to be overlooked is the dual digital camera system, with the main one equipped with a 50 million dot sensor.
The remaining hardware of the Poco M6 Pro smartphone includes four, six or eight gigabytes of system memory (depending on the version) and 64 gigabytes of internal memory. If necessary, this can be expanded with the help of a memory card, up to one terabyte. The Android 13 mobile operating system with a modified MIUI graphical interface is installed on the built-in memory. Support for two SIM cards is also provided, which may come in handy for some. Especially for those who travel a lot.
The Poco M6 Pro smartphone is currently on sale in the Indian market, but it will soon hit the global market. The novelty is expectedly cheap. The entry-level version of the novelty with four gigabytes of system memory is priced at 120 euros, while the more powerful version with six and four gigabytes of system memory is priced at 142 euros. The eight gigabyte version will go on sale before the end of August.
