Intel processors of the 15th generation among us already at the end of October!
The company Intel revealed some very interesting plans in the field of processors some time ago. By far the most interesting of all are processors with Arrow Lake cores. These are the 15th generation processors that will succeed the Meteor Lake processors. The newcomers will bring quite a few novelties, and they will arrive on store shelves on October 24 this year. The new Intel processors will initially be sold in selected markets, and a little later they will be available for purchase worldwide.
Intel Arrow Lake processors are manufactured using the Intel 20A manufacturing process. This should provide as much as 15 percent more efficiency compared to its predecessor. Even more interesting is the built-in graphics core made by TSMC using advanced N3 technology. This should make it easier for Intel to compete against AMD processors with Zen 5 cores.
Intel is said to offer a total of 18 new processors of the Arrow Lake family for sale. Here it will be about models with K, without K and T markings, which will of course be intended for different segments. Novices should use up to 125 vars (K family), 65 watts (non-K family) and 65 watts (T family) at maximum load. Mainly the latter will of course be intended for portable computers. All newcomers are said to be more energy efficient and should heat up significantly less when operating.
At the end of October, five models of new Intel processors will be offered for sale, namely Core Ultra 9 285K, Core Ultra 7 265K, Core Ultra 7 265KF, Core Ultra 5 245K and Core Ultra 5 245KF. The most powerful model will be equipped with eight powerful P cores, 16 energy-saving E cores (a total of 24 physical cores) and an integrated graphics card with four processing units. Much less powerful models, such as Core Ultra 3 and Intel Processor (formerly known as Celeron), will not be presented until next year at the CES 2025 conference.
Along with the new Intel Arrow Lake processors, new motherboards will of course also be offered for sale. This will be about models equipped with Z890 and B860 system sets. Of course, these will be more expensive basic boards, which are expected to be aimed at the most demanding users.
