Incredible success for the Xiaomi SU7 electric car
Xiaomi decided to diversify its offering in 2021. Mobile telephony remained at the center, but they also established a department for the development and production of cars. The Xiaomi SU7 electric car began to be delivered in March last year and in a short time sold 27,307 units, bringing an additional 828 million euros to the company's coffers. To date, this figure has grown significantly - even exceeding the company's expectations.
The automotive division will continue to operate at a loss for some time, which the company is aware of, but it remains optimistic. They announced that they would reach the target of 120,000 cars shipped by the end of last year. But as it turns out, sales figures for the super electric vehicle have exceeded Xiaomi's expectations.
Xiaomi has reportedly sold 150,000 SU7 cars so far. By the end of 2024, dealers will have sold a total of 135,000 electric cars, with an additional 15,000 sold this year.
The Xiaomi SU7 electric car went on sale on March 28, 2024. The entry-level version of the sports electric car costs 28,416 euros. The Pro and Max versions are available for 32,330 euros and 39,477 euros, respectively. It is therefore not surprising that the new Xiaomi SU7 is extremely popular in the Chinese market.
