The Google Pixel Fold is a decent competitor to Samsung

Recently, the company Google also entered the field of folding/folding smartphones. They introduced their first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold, which, as befits a foldable phone, is not exactly cheap. The basic version with 12 gigabytes of system memory and 256 gigabytes of built-in data storage space is valued at 1,647 euros in the United States. A more powerful version with 512 gigabytes of built-in data storage space costs 1,710 euros. A high price, but still significantly lower than the latest Huawei Mate X3, which can be had in Slovenia for a dizzying €2,200.

Despite the higher retail price, the foldable smartphone Google Pixel Fold has impressed many fans of modern technology who like to try out unusual phones. In the United States, the Pixel Fold sold out almost immediately. In other countries around the world, it goes on sale as a bet. Good sales do not overly surprise us, but we would still like to know if the Pixel Fold will be a good candidate for Slovenian users as well. If you don't already know, Pixel phones have problems with the 5G network in Slovenia.

The folding smartphone Google Pixel Fold is equipped with a high-quality external OLED screen with a 5.8-inch (14.7-centimeter) diagonal, a resolution of 1,080 x 2,092 pixels and a frequency of 120 hertz. There is, of course, a much larger internal OLED screen available here. It boasts a 7.6-inch (19.3-centimeter) diagonal, a resolution of 1,840 x 2,208 pixels and a frequency of 120 hertz. Games, movies, series, YouTube and the like, as we are used to, will come out even more with foldable phones.

The rest of the hardware of the Google Pixel Fold smartphone is also out of stock. This includes a powerful Google Tensor G2 processor, as much as 12 gigabytes of system memory and 256 or 512 gigabytes of built-in data storage space. Sufficiently long autonomy will be ensured by a battery with a capacity of 4,821 milliampere hours with a fast charging system (30 watts).

The Google Pixel Fold smartphone offers three cameras for capturing photos, namely resolutions of 48 million, 10.8 million and 10.8 million pixels. The front internal web camera has an image sensor with a resolution of eight million pixels, while the external one has 9.5 million pixels. Since Google Pixel phones are known to be good photography phones, we at Pixel Fold are also optimistic that it will deliver good photos and videos.
