HONOR Magic7 is coming

HONOR Magic7 is coming

We are approaching the time when we will get the first premium phones in Europe that will mark the year 2025. Samsung has reserved the month of January every year to present its flagship, and this year will not be any different. HONOR has already introduced the Magic7 series in China, but we will have to wait another month for our market.

The HONOR Magic7 Pro is the one that will compete with all the Ultra and Pro Max phones that its competitors will introduce throughout the year. As every year, we expect upgrades in all areas, which will be a bit more difficult this year, because last year's Magic6 Pro was a very good phone with few flaws.

For photography, we will have three rear cameras available - 50 MP (main), 200 MP (telephoto) and 50 MP (ultrawide) - and one 50 MP front camera with a depth sensor, which will help with better and more accurate face recognition, especially in low light. The HONOR Image Engine 3.0 will also be built in with large language models, which will help us improve portraits, light, shadows, shots and the like. Considering that the competition also relies heavily on artificial intelligence, it is no wonder that HONOR has also shifted into a higher gear.

The battery will have a massive 5850mAh capacity, and HONOR has been using silicon-carbon batteries for some time now. It will charge at 100W wired and 80W wirelessly. The battery will be managed by various systems, including the HONOR E2 chip, to ensure the best efficiency and performance.

HONOR phones were among the first to make a big leap in the display area, especially in terms of brightness and eye protection. If two years ago we were talking about 1000 or 1500 nits of brightness, today it is quite common for the brightness of a phone screen to rise above 2000 or even 3000 nits. HONOR Magic7 Pro goes even higher, up to 5000 nits. Thanks to LTPO technology, it refreshes between 1 and 120 Hz. The refresh rate of the PWM dimming screen, which is important for eye protection, is rated at 4320 Hz.

Of course, we will be playing with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with new Oryon cores and Adreno graphics core, which promise more than a 40-% increase in performance and efficiency. The price will most likely be similar to last year's model, namely around €1300-1400.
