Great news for users of outdated Google Pixel 4a LTE phones

Great news for users of outdated Google Pixel 4a LTE phones

In October 2019, Google launched the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones. The Pixel 4 model draws images with an OLED screen with a 14.5-centimeter or 5.7-inch diagonal and a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels, while the larger Pixel 4 XL model offers a 16-centimeter or 6.3-inch diagonal screen with a resolution 3,040 x 1,440 pixels. Both screens offer an average frame rate of 90 frames per second, which means they are suitable for both games and multimedia content.

The powerful Snapdragon 855 mobile processor is responsible for running the software. Both models are equipped with 6 gigabytes of system memory and offer up to 128 gigabytes of data storage space. Photography and online conferences are also perfectly taken care of, as the newcomers are equipped with two cameras with a resolution of 12.2 megapixels and 16 megapixels with optical image smoothing and 2x zoom, as well as a web camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels. Both of Google's new phones in 2019 came with Android 10 with a default GUI

Although the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones are still up to the most demanding tasks, Google has announced that it will no longer be preparing software updates for them. But fortunately, this is not the case. The company Google has prepared an update of the Android operating system for users of the Pixel 4 phone, which includes security fixes from the month of November. The novelty is equipped with the tag TQ3A.230805.001.S1.

The updated Android operating system is expected to be available to users of the Google Pixel 4 smartphone via an OTA (over-the-air) upgrade system. The device itself will inform you about the availability of the upgrade. You can also check the availability of the update yourself, namely in the phone settings. All users should receive the update by the end of this year at the latest.
