Google VPN is about to get even better

Google One cloud service is very popular among users. This allows us to store everything on it - from videos to music and documents, so that all content is accessible anywhere and anytime and allows easy sharing. The available storage space is used by various Google services such as Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos.

Recently, however, Google has added another useful feature, namely the VPN service. A VPN connection or service not only hides our identity, but also provides a more secure connection to the company network and the Internet (for example, in a coffee shop). The Google VPN service has been available "for free" to all Google One subscribers for quite some time. The "Premium" subscription costs 9.99 euros, but the VPN service can now also be used with the "Basic" subscription in the amount of 1.99 euros. This option has been available since March this year.

The Google VPN service has not been without problems so far, however. Users complained about the inaccurate location of the service. In practice, this meant that when they selected a certain country, their device was "located" in a neighboring country, which caused problems for some. Fortunately, Google will fix this problem soon. More precise locations will be available for all users of the Google VPN service from July 29.
