Google is developing the Pixel Tablet 2

After a good year since the release of the Pixel Tablet, it is quite normal that the web is flooded with many rumors and theories about the possible release of a successor. Its arrival is inevitable, as the Pixel Tablet has been quite well received by users. The latest and as yet unconfirmed information is that the Pixel Tablet 2 could be available as early as the end of May.

But there are some small signs that the Pixel 2 tablet is almost here. The March Android 14 beta (QPR3 Beta 1) only included one feature update with AI-powered Circle to Search. Some have delved into the code and found two pieces of information that indicate the possible arrival of a new tablet.

The first is the “Adaptive Touch” feature as a setting. The text string for this feature was found along with “touch sensitivity will automatically adjust to your environment, activities and screen protector.” This feature cannot be activated yet. Another piece of information is the hardware codenames called Clementine and Kiyomi, which are hybrid sweet tangerines and another hybrid fruit. As a reminder, the first Pixel Tablet was codenamed TangorPro, and Tangor is also a hybrid fruit.

Google introduced the Pixel Tablet at its I/O conference last year. Now it's obviously time to continue the story, because thanks to good components, it performed perfectly, and the most important component was the charger or the charging station with the speaker. Users could use the Pixel Tablet as a regular tablet for most of the day, then dock it and use it as a digital display or as a speaker.
