Google announced a war on passwords for greater security

Access passwords are still one of the most commonly used methods of protection against unauthorized access to online services and valuable data. Unfortunately, the latest security threats (for example, spying Trojan horses) have shown that passwords no longer offer us enough protection, even if they are long and complex enough. Passwords are extremely easy to steal and this can no longer be prevented even by using advanced security mechanisms such as firewalls, anti-virus solutions and the like.

In order to protect users of online services from this type of abuse, Google prepared special USB encryption keys called Titan Security Key some time ago. These enable extremely secure access to all Google and other online services, as it is a hardware "piece" of equipment that miscreants must first physically steal. The security key is, of course, adapted to the Chrome web browser, which means that users do not need to install any additional software. To access popular online services, we no longer need classic access passwords, but only a dedicated USB key, which is extremely easy to use.

The revamped Google Titan Security Key just got even better. This one is available with both USB-C and USB-A interface. The user can store up to 250 access passwords on each access key. The new Google Titan Security Key access key even enables remote login to online services via the NFC interface. Fortunately, the novelty is not excessively expensive. In order to purchase the new security key Google Titan Security Key, it is necessary to pay only 27.5 euros.
