A good ASUS computer monitor for more demanding gamers

ASUS has revealed a new TUF series gaming monitor called the VG249QL3A. It will have a 1080p display and a 180Hz refresh rate with an IPS display matrix. The VG249QL3A has obtained TÜV certifications for a flicker-free screen and low blue light content, which ensures less strain on the eyes.

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG249QL3A offers a 23.8-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The already mentioned fast IPS technology and 180 Hz refresh rate are ideal for playing games. The 1ms response time gives players a smooth gaming experience. ASUS Ultra Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology helps reduce ghosting and blur during gameplay. The monitor has a built-in speaker, which in all probability will not impress with its quality. The Shadow Boost feature helps to enhance image detail in dark areas without overexposing bright areas.

More connectivity: the monitor has one 1.2 display connector, two HDMI (v2.0) connectors and a headphone jack. Finally, the VG249QL3A is compatible with AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies, which ensure a smooth image without tearing. ASUS has not yet revealed when the product will be available for purchase and what the expected price will be.
