Samsung's S20 series of smartphones (S20e, S20 and S20 Plus, or S20 Ultra 5G) was the talk of the town among high-end smartphone enthusiasts in 2020. The Galaxy S20 Ultra stood out the most, with its slightly unusual camera setup. The main weapon of the new product was a high-quality 108-megapixel camera.
Although Samsung's S20 family of smartphones is still up to modern challenges, the computer giant has decided to no longer prepare updates and fixes for it. Samsung has stopped supporting the following S20 family smartphones: Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 5G, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20+ 5G, Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G.

If you've ever browsed through app details in the Google Play Store, you may have noticed that most support systems that are many years old, even Android 5. The likelihood that you will be the target of malicious attacks is small, but never zero. Google prepares monthly security patches, which manufacturers quickly adopt and send to selected phones.

What can you do if your phone isn't receiving updates? Not much. It's a fate that awaits every phone and every other electronic device. You can either accept it or start slowly thinking about another phone.
