A compact portable computer with an unusual processor

The laptop market is currently dominated by Intel and AMD processors. Nevertheless, for the preparation of the Console 4 laptop, Lichee decided on a completely different solution. Namely, it used the XuanTie TH1520 processor, which is based on the RISC-V architecture. This data is calculated with C910 processor cores with a frequency of 1.85 gigahertz. So it's no surprise that the new laptop is running the open-source Debian operating system.

The Lichee Console 4 compact laptop is available with LPDDR4 system memory with a capacity of eight gigabytes and 16 gigabytes. Up to 128 gigabytes of built-in space is available for data storage. Of course, we can also expand this if necessary. There is also a rich range of connections, including WiFi 6 and Bluetooth wireless connections.

As already mentioned, the Lichee Console 4 laptop is extremely compact. Therefore, it is not surprising that it is equipped with a 7-inch or 17.8-centimeter screen with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. For web conferences, a web camera with a resolution of two million pixels is available. The novelty measures 18.5 x 14 x 2 centimeters in total and weighs only 720 grams.

A battery with a capacity of 22.8 watt hours ensures the Lichee Console 4 laptop's long operating autonomy.
