The company SQFMI recently surprised us with a very interesting Beepberry device. The novelty is based on the compact computer system Raspberry Pi Zero W and the BlackBerry Q20 keyboard. This combination gives it an unusual shape, which could be a factor that would convince tech enthusiasts looking for atypical technology.

The Beepberry mini computer system is based on open source. It is equipped with a screen with a 2.7-inch or 6.8-centimeter diagonal and a battery with a capacity of 2,000 milliampere hours. The whole thing is "packed" in a case measuring 104 x 74 x 15 millimeters. The novelty runs the Raspberry Pi OS Lite operating system, and the Raspberry Pi RP2040 interface enables the keys from the BlackBerry Q20 keyboard to be converted into commands for the Raspberry Pi Zero W computer system.

Fortunately, Beepberry is cheap. Its retail price is set at a mere 93 euros. Without the Raspberry Pi Zero W computer system, the novelty is already available for 75 euros. The first customers will receive their Beepberry during the month of August. Without the Raspberry Pi Zero W computer system, the novelty will be delivered in September.
