AMD launched a brand new Ryzen processor family just under a year ago. The Ryzen 9000 series will be based on the completely redesigned Zen 5 processor core and powerful integrated RDNA graphics. But we will soon see a new processor family.

AMD is expected to launch a brand new Ryzen processor family towards the end of the year. These will be the Ryzen 9000G processors, which will be based on the completely redesigned Zen 4 processor core and powerful integrated RDNA graphics. The newcomers will replace the existing Ryzen 8000G generation.

The AMD Ryzen 9000G processors, codenamed Phoenix, will be built using 4nm technology. The integrated XDNA 2 artificial intelligence unit will achieve a performance of 50 billion operations per second. The new products are expected to be available for purchase towards the end of this year.

AMD is expected to launch three new Ryzen 9000G processors. These will be the Ryzen 7 9700G, Ryzen 5 9600G, and Ryzen 5 9500G processors. The most powerful model will of course be the Ryzen 7 9700G. It is expected to use eight physical and 16 virtual processor cores to process data. More information about the new product will likely be available this fall.
