Some time ago, Asus introduced the long-awaited unique portable gaming console with the ROG Ally sales tag. One of the biggest advantages of the Asus ROG Ally portable gaming console is the quality screen. The console is equipped with a 17.8-centimeter or 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, which can display up to 120 frames per second. In addition, the response time of the screen is only five milliseconds. But the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, which runs a more powerful version of the Asus ROG Ally gaming console, is no less interesting.

The AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor has eight Zen 4 processor cores and 16 processor threads for data calculation. It calculates this data up to a frequency of 5.1 gigahertz, and the graphic content is accompanied by a built-in graphics core with 12 RDNA3 processor units. Mochamad Farido Fanani tested how powerful AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme is in practice. The capacity test surprised even the greatest connoisseurs.

The AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor was able to compete with Intel's Core i5-10600K desktop processor without any problems. The AMD processor was up to 32 percent more powerful in single-core mode and up to 17 percent more powerful in multi-core mode. AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme also achieved similar results in comparison with the Apple M1 processor. In single-core mode, AMD's processor was even better than the newer Apple M2. This is also the reason why the Asus ROG Ally portable gaming console is currently one of the most powerful on the market.
