Xiaomi also with a wireless motion sensor

Xiaomi continues to expand the portfolio of products it sells under its own brand. We know it for its excellent phones, but the company also manufactures computers, smart phones, watches, bracelets, and they have also tackled smart home technology. They have prepared quite a few solutions for pets, but they have also tried their hand at security solutions, including cameras and now also sensors.

The Xiaomi motion sensor is extremely compact. With the convenient adjustable bracket, the sensor can be installed practically anywhere. When it detects motion, the light on the hub turns on. It can also trigger an alarm if you have previously set such an operation mode (Away from Home). The new sensor can detect movement in a 130-degree field of view at a distance of up to four meters.

The new sensor uses advanced technology and transmits data via a wireless Bluetooth connection. Its advantage is that it runs on batteries, so connection to the network is not always necessary. The sensor is powered by one CR3450 battery, which will be sufficient for up to three years of autonomy.

Xiaomi's motion sensor is currently on sale in the Chinese market. Its retail price is very low, as it is set at just 25 euros. Most likely, the novelty will soon be available for purchase from us as well.
