AI themes coming soon to Outlook

Microsoft adds AI-generated and AI-powered themes to Outlook. The feature is called “Themes by Copilot”. To use it, we will need to connect a Copilot Pro license (or a business license).

New dynamic themes will be available everywhere: for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and also in the web version. Microsoft happily announced that Outlook will be much more beautiful and accessible from now on. However, many people would prefer to see improvements in the search and organization of messages.

Either way, you'll be able to create a theme based on weather or locations, and it can dynamically update every few hours, daily, weekly, or monthly. "If you've enabled location permissions in Outlook, the My Location theme will bring you images uniquely inspired by your locale and dynamically update when you go on a trip or vacation," says Microsoft.

Each theme will have a custom background and a different top toolbar on phones/tablets. A different color adapted to the chosen theme will also be present elsewhere in Outlook.

For all those who do not have a Copilot license, Microsoft will add some additional themes that will not be controlled by artificial intelligence.
