Pixel 10: New camera for the base model?

Google could add an additional camera to the base Pixel 10 model. This is suggested by photos from whistleblower OnLeaks, published by Android Headlines.

The Pixel 9 has a rear main and ultra-wide camera. The Pixel 10 would be joined by a periscope camera, currently only found on the Pixel 9 Pro. This would allow for faster focusing and higher quality when photographing distant scenes.

Other than that, there aren't any major changes expected. The new Pixel 10 will be just 0.1mm thicker than the Pixel 9, and it will retain the 6.3-inch display and matte edges found on its predecessor.

The upcoming Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL phones are also expected to look similar to their predecessors, but will feature new, more powerful Tensor G5 chips from TSMC. These are said to be capable of running Stable Diffusion AI locally, and are less susceptible to overheating.

The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL series of phones are expected to be released in August, with Android 16 preloaded, which is expected to be released in June.
