The third call of the Ministry of Digital Transformation for the allocation of laptops has been published
The Ministry of Digital Transformation has ensured that these individuals will receive the same opportunities and support they need to improve their situation. In the first public call, beneficiaries from the first income bracket, whose income per family member does not exceed 230.76 euros net, were able to apply. In the second public call, beneficiaries from the first and second income brackets, as well as foster parents, whose income per family member does not exceed 384.61 euros net and who have at least one child enrolled in primary education, were able to apply.
In the third public call, published on Tuesday, August 26, 2024, all beneficiaries from the first to the sixth income class inclusive, who have at least one child in primary school education, can apply. The upper limit of the average monthly income per person is 820.51 euros net, and those from lower income classes will still have priority in the allocation of laptops.
The application deadline is September 30, 2024. Beneficiaries can also submit their applications by email to gc@sklad-kadri.si. No supporting documents are required when applying, and the decision will be sent by registered mail. If the decision is positive, beneficiaries will receive a laptop free of charge at home, delivered by Pošta Slovenije.
The laptop becomes the permanent property of the beneficiary after two years. Each computer has an installed operating system and programs for editing documents, images, viewing multimedia content, surfing the web and communication.
In order to inform the most vulnerable groups about the call, the ministry launched an awareness campaign in cooperation with humanitarian organizations such as the Association of Friends of Youth, the Red Cross, Caritas, schools and local communities. By publishing the message, we also decided to reach as many people as possible at Računališke novice.
