New Cobra GT Coupé presented

In a great mix of old and new, Donington-based AC Cars has revealed a new coupé version of the legendary Cobra model. This has impressed people in the automotive industry as well as car enthusiasts. The new model is expected to combine the latest technology and production techniques with the classic Cobra silhouette that has defined the car for generations.

Cobra, a name synonymous with raw power and classic sports car design, has been reimagined for the modern era. The 2025 Cobra GT Coupé line presented by AC Cars shows how the brand is keeping the original design while taking it forward with new technology.

In the base model, the new Cobro GT Coupé is powered by a naturally aspirated V8 engine that delivers approximately 450 horsepower. If you want even more excitement, the GT S Coupé version has a supercharger that boosts power to an impressive 720 horsepower. However, it's the GT Clubsport Edition that really pushes the boundaries, with a limited run of 99 units and a specially tuned V8 engine that produces an incredible 799 horsepower.

The GT Coupé is an engineering feat with an all-new spaceframe extruded aluminum chassis and carbon fiber bodywork. The design is inspired by the iconic bodywork of the 60s, and the interior offers a mix of retro style and modern equipment, including electric windows, air conditioning and a connected infotainment system.

The GT Coupé stands out not only for its impressive specifications, but for its ability to combine the old with the new. The hardtop version is said to provide greater rigidity, excellent cornering and weight distribution that promises perfect balance. The attention to detail doesn't stop there. The exterior features LED lighting, including halo-style circular headlights, and a wheelbase inspired by the Cobra's legendary past.

The AC Cobra GT Coupé is not just a presentation of a new car. It's a celebration of a legacy that spans over six decades. With a starting price of over $400,000, the GT Coupé will become the new gold standard in the sports car world, offering an experience that is both nostalgically familiar and excitingly modern.

Expected to be delivered in late 2025, the AC Cobra GT Coupé is a great example of how classic design and modern technology can come together to create something special for the next generation of car enthusiasts.
