HTC with a new smartphone soon?
Do you still remember the phone manufacturer HTC? Once they were at the top, today they are almost forgotten. Did you know they still make phones? It launched the U23 Pro model last May, and it seems that it is now preparing a successor to this device, which will most likely be called the U24 Pro.
The HTC U24 Pro has been listed on the Google Play Console, which usually means that the official launch will happen in the next few weeks. A few days ago, it was also spotted in the online database of the Geekbench application, and it was also certified by the Bluetooth SIG.
The HTC U24 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip and will come with 12GB of RAM in one variant (more may be available). Its screen will have a resolution of 1080 x 2436 and a pixel density of 480ppi. It will come with (expected) Android 14.
An image of the phone has also surfaced online and it shows a curved display with a center hole for the selfie camera. The power and volume buttons are on the right side. A recent Bluetooth certification showed that it supports version 5.3. The predecessor was launched in May, and in all likelihood the successor will follow the same pattern. The price is currently unknown, but we assume it will be around €500.
